Chris Barnwell
Architect, Co-founder (Retired)
American Institute of Architects (AIA)
Emeritus Design Architect who believes a fun, good experience is what architecture is all about.
During his career, Chris worked for both large and small firms, and learned that each has its unique benefits and challenges. He found a great deal of happiness being his own boss. It allowed him the freedom to prioritize according to his own values and truly do what is right professionally and in his relationships with others.
In retirement, Chris likes traveling with his wife, working on their latest home remodeling project, and collecting almost anything but stamps. He is a bit of a history buff and enjoys studying and researching the American Civil War period.
I once worked for the National Park Service and spent a lot of time outdoors. I especially enjoyed the time I spent on horseback in the 11th Ohio Cavalry living history program.
