PROJECT DESCRIPTION

What was used is new again!

The UCHealth Elk Lakes Urgent Care and Primary Care Clinic in Greeley, Colorado utilized an existing space and coverted it into a new clinical space—providing a vital service for the surrounding community. The project includes both Urgent Care and Primary Care Outpatient Clinics within a roughly 7,000 square foot single-story building.

Existing conditions were maintained as much as possible to help mitigate costs, but revisions were implemented as necessary to provide a fully functional healthcare environment. An existing equipment mezzanine was cut back to provide better clinical space on the main floor while still providing the necessary supporting mechanical and IT spaces. The existing entrance vestibule was re-utilized in the new layout and the exterior was refurbished with new paint and signage to support UCHealth.

Outside of the Vestibule, the interior space was remodeled to support all the functions of the two clinics. On the Urgent Care side, there are two Treatment rooms, four Exam rooms, a Care Team Station, and three private Provider spaces. Within the Primary Care clinic, there is a Treatment room, nine Exam rooms, a Care Team Station, two private Provider spaces, as well as a shared Provider office space. These clinics are supported by Office spaces, a Staff Break area, shared Clean Supply and Soiled rooms, Point of Care Testing, and an X-ray room. All the amenities are included within an efficient and effective floor plan.

Throughout the process, Pact and the design Team worked closely with the UCHealth staff and project manager in order to help bring their vision to life with efficiency and to their proven standards. Special thanks to UCHealth, our design team, and Roche Construction for helping bring this project to life!

Let’s create something together.
