Gretchen is a licensed architect that has the unique perspective of working on the owner’s side for six years managing design and construction projects for a large healthcare system. Previous to that, she worked in design firms managing projects for Higher Education, Hospitality, Commercial, and Retail clients.
Gretchen is currently living in Alaska with her family while her spouse is on a military assignment. She thrives on hiking and nature’s beauty, board games and puzzles, and reading and art.
I grew up baking and learned from a young age how to make something delicious from humble ingredients. That has taught me so much about using resources without wasting them, being creative, and using my own hands. I’m a self-taught baker and have made quite the range of desserts and breads over the years.
